Main Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef lean or regular
- 1 box Stove Top stuffing mix any flavor
- 2 eggs large
- 1 cup milk any kind
- 1 yellow onion finely chopped
- 1/2 cup ketchup divided
Optional Garnishes
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
- 1/4 cup extra ketchup for serving
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese optional topping
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper or lightly grease a loaf pan.
Peel and finely chop the onion. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, dry stuffing mix, eggs, milk, chopped onion, and half the ketchup.
Mix everything together using clean hands or a large spoon until well combined but not overmixed.
Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on the tray or in the loaf pan.
Spread the remaining ketchup over the top of the loaf.
Bake for 45–50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
Remove from oven and let the meatloaf rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.
